Cabernet Envirosealed Window

Performance X4

DuraLite Energy Efficient Spacer
Enviro-Foam Filled Sash & Frame
Soft Coat Low-E Glass with Argon
SunClean
Self Cleaning Glass

It’s a simple goal in modern-day living - keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter, while keeping energy costs low. The excellent thermal performance properties of vinyl windows make that goal attainable. Vinyl windows have specially designed insulating airspaces in their frames and sash. Combining that with their low conductivity "Warm-Edge" spacers, spectrally selective Low-E glass and gas fills – make them a formidable barrier to heat transfer. BFRich Cabernet Envirosealed™ windows have Enviro-Foam filled sash and frame members, SunClean™ Self-Cleaning/Solar Control Soft Coat Low-E Glass, Argon gas and the DuraLite insulating glass spacer system. DuraLite is the most energy efficient, environmentally friendly spacer system available today. If you want to “GO GREEN” make sure you request the Envirosealed™ window option in our Cabernet window system.

B.F. Rich, a previous award winning company for “Most Innovative Manufacturing Plant,” now shares this prestigious industry recognition award with TruSeal Technologies.
TruSeal Technologies received the 2007 Crystal Achievement Award for their DuraLite™ information brochure highlighting the capabilities of its new DuraLite™ edge-seal system.

Maximize energy efficiency and significantly reduce condensation with SunClean™ Self-Cleaning glass combined with Soft Coat Low-E glass and argon gas insulation.

The Soft Coat Low-E coating on the glass is applied by magnetic sputtered vacuum deposition process to ensure superior thermal performance. Its solar control along with the insulating performance and aesthetic offer all the benefits from a Solar Selective Low-E glass.

SunClean™ Self-Cleaning glass is a coated glass product with photocatalytic and hydrophilic properties that combine to result in windows that are easier to clean. The durable, transparent coating on SunClean™ self-cleaning glass is applied to hot glass during the formation process making it an integral part of the outer glass surface.
After a few days of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun, the coating becomes energized and provides photocatalytic and hydrophilic properties.
To increase thermal performance polyurethane Enviro-Foam is injected into selective cavities inside the vinyl sashes and frame to reduce heat transfer rates and improve condensation resistance.
The sashes have a weep tube that is inserted and sealed in the lower sash rails for residual moisture drainage. This innovative design by B.F. Rich prevents residual moisture from being absorbed into the Enviro-Foam so it maintains its insulating properties and provides protection against the formation of mold.

The Envirosealed™ Window Package is available in Double-Hung, Slider, Casement, Awning, Stationary, Architectural Shapes, Bay, Bow and Garden Windows.
